Maison Flamingo is a stylish 5 bedroom modern villa that showcases the very best of traditional Moroccan design techniques, and features a large swimming pool and well established garden, offering its guests simple and understated luxury throughout whilst creating a truly authentic experience. The villa is nestled within the peaceful countryside allowing for rest and relaxation, and is just a 15 minute drive from Essaouira and approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes from Marrakech.

Accommodation overview
Maison Flamingo offers spacious open-plan living and 5 en-suite bedrooms spread out over ground level for up to 12 guests to enjoy. The light and airy property was created using an abundance of natural materials and classic techniques which can be seen in the smooth white stone walls (typically found in Essaouira), high wooden ceilings, tadelakt plastering, bejemat brickwork underfoot, and beautiful green zellige tiling in the swimming pool.  This ode to classic design is known as 'Beldi chic' and Maison Flamingo does it so well. Complimenting the simple elegance of the property are Moorish textiles, carefully chosen art pieces, woven wicker decor, and furniture made from hand-carved natural wood.

Maison Flamingo has a trusted team of staff at your disposal so that you can truly relax into your stay knowing that you will be well looked after.

• The caretaker lovingly tends to the garden, oversees the maintenance of the pool, and will prepare the open fire every evening. He can also organize a festive evening with a "gnawa" musicians group. 

• The housekeeper can prepare your meals and do a daily clean of the property (rate upon demand).

• A nanny can be made available to take care of your children should you require it (rate upon demand).

• We can arrange for a masseuse to visit the Maison Flamingo for some relaxing treatments (rate upon demand).

Accommodation
The property has a large and bright open-plan living area split in to two spaces; one for dining and one for lounging. The large solid wood dining table sits in front of wide glass windows and patio doors which allow the light to stream through. This is an excellent space for bringing the party together over some delicious home-cooked meals. The lounge space features a big comfy sofa as well as cushioned window seats, and some colourful Moroccan textiles (a pouffe and rug) set around a large fireplace. This is a calming space to unwind with a book, or enjoy a film on the flat screen TV.Wide bright walkways with floor-to-ceiling windows lead to the 4 en-suite bedrooms which all feature queen-sized beds, stylish contemporary decor and Moorish textiles. These can be turned in to single beds on request.

Outdoor space
Maison Flamingo has extensive grounds to lose yourself in. Relax and sunbathe on one of the cushioned double sun loungers around the large pool with its eye-catching zellige tiling. Step out onto the lush green lawn and wander through the grounds to enjoy the beautiful collection of palms, desert grasses, cacti and other succulents.Wrapped around the property is a bejemat brick terrace punctuated with strips of bedding, home to splashes of green leafy succulents. Here you will find a reed-shaded area featuring cushioned hand-carved lounge set and table, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee. There is also a large dining table and chairs to enjoy an evening feast.The property is gated and has ample parking.
