Villa Waterlily | TC5072 | 5 bedroom luxury beachfront villa in Koh Samui

This luxury 5-bedroom Koh Samui villa is spread over a generous 36 meters of beachfront with the sandy shore of Maenam beach mere steps away. Surrounded by lush tropical greenery, Villa Waterlily accommodates up to 10 guests and comprises a series of pavilions centred around its L-shaped swimming pool and attractive shaded Thai Sala. The pavilions have modern and airy interiors yet also show traditional Thai characteristics and décor with polished wood floors and vaulted ceilings. It would be hard not to find tranquillity amid the palm tree framed views which pan out over white sands to the glittering sea and Koh Phan Ngan beyond, and to enhance your beach sanctuary, a dedicated villa manager is at your service to ensure your stay is stress free. Daily housekeeping and a chef- prepared in-villa breakfast each morning are included.

The accommodation is fully air-conditioned and the pavilions are laid out as follows;

The first pavilion (the main living/ dining/ kitchen area):

The spacious living/dining room has high-vaulted ceilings and large glass sliding doors providing plenty of natural sunlight. Furnished with 3 comfortable sofas gathered around a glass coffee table, a smart satellite TV with speakers and a Netflix subscription, and off to the side is the modern ten-person dining table. In the adjoining room is the fully equipped kitchen.

The master bedroom pavilion (link-detached):

Facing Maenam beach, the master bedroom boasts incredible sea views, teak flooring and a vaulted white-washed timber ceiling with fan. The room is furnished with a king-sized bed, two bed-side tables, writing desk/dressing table with mirror, wardrobe, TV and DVD player and has an en-suite with both a shower and a bathtub. Connected to the master bedroom is a spacious veranda furnished with a daybed with canopy overlooking the beach.

The second double bedroom pavilion (link-detached):

This stylish bedroom has a wooden armchair, bedside tables with lamps, a king-sized bed with fixed headboard made with custom artwork, a ceiling fan, wardrobe, and en-suite facilities with shower.

The twin bedrooms (link-detatched):

The first twin bedroom is a standalone pavilion (link-detached). The other two are housed in a separate pavilion next door to each other. All three twin bedrooms have fixed headboards and custom artwork, a writing desk/dressing table, wardrobe, ceiling fan and an en-suite with a shower.

The outside area:

The accommmodation is centred around an inviting private L-shaped swimming pool and traditional Thai Sala (fixed gazebo), furnished with an outdoor sofa as well as table and chairs. Large glass doors from the living room pavilion open onto a spacious veranda with dining table for 10 so the whole party can dine al-fresco. Adjacent to the veranda is the gas fired BBQ with marble counter ready for your use, alternatively you could hire the chef to conjure up a feast here using fresh local produce. A hammock, ideally situated between two palm trees is in the perfect position to relax and enjoy the vista of Maenam beach!

Staff & Services:

The dedicated on site villa manager, daily housekeeper and chef each provide a discreet and amenable service and can be summoned by the press of a button. Breakfast is included and will be prepared daily for you by the chef at which point you can discuss any further dining requirements for the day with your villa manager. A comprehensive (priced) menu is available and includes an array of delicious Thai and Western cuisine. Your villa chef will cook complimentary when you order dishes from the Miskawaan in-villa menu.

For special occasions, it is possible to hire a chef to prepare a barbeque at your villa or even a tailored banquet on the beach for the perfect tropical island celebration.

There are a number of optional paid services available such as an in-villa massage, vehicle with driver or a nanny service for families.

The Miskawaan Estate comprises 7 premium Samui beach villas and there is 24 hour monitored security and maintenance teams on hand. There is also an English-speaking Estate Manager available should you need any help advice or have any special requests.

Villa Sila and Villa Wayu are two larger villas each with 7 bedrooms located 700m away on the Residences Estate. These can be booked together or separately, ideal for wedding parties or corporate events.

Guests at Villa Waterlily also have access to a shared fully equipped gym on the estate, private parking, and complimentary use of kayaks and snorkelling equipment.

Location

Villa Waterlily is part of the spacious sanctuary that is Miskawaan and sits on the Maenam beachfront on the north coast of Koh Samui. The villas at Miskawaan are situated side by side, but nestled amongst tropical foliage and greenery to add privacy, while still benefiting from all the services on the estate. 

Stroll along the beach and you will discover various different cafés and restaurants overlooking the sea. A short walk inland takes you to Maenam's main 'walking street' which has plenty of eateries and shops of its own, but really comes alive every Thursday with a night market of exciting stalls selling clothes, souveniers, handicrafts, sizzling snacks, and you will even find mobile cocktail bars offering much cheaper versions of what you can find in the local bars and restaurants.

Golf enthusiasts will enjoy the close proximity to The Royal Samui Golf course, which is only a 15-minute drive away. Alternatively, guests may wish to venture to Bophut, known as the Fisherman's Village, where there is an abundance of restaurants, or the popular resort of Chaweng Beach - the largest town on the island - and just a 20-minute drive away.

Please note that Villa Waterlily can be booked as a 3 or 4 bedroom option or altenatively alongside neighbouring villas Frangipani or Villa Lotus - a great option for large groups who want to holiday together, yet still retain their own privacy. There are 7 beachfront villas in the Miskawaan estate and 2 more 700m away on the Residences estate (9 in total), offering the ideal opportunity for destination wedding guests or larger groups of friends and family to holiday in the same location in Koh Samui.
