   Mykonos Island Airport (National Airport)

Mykonos Island Airport is the closest airport to our Mykonos villas at approximately 25-30 minute drive. 

Mykonos Island Airport, otherwise know as Hephaistos (or Ifestos) Airport, located after the area Drafaki, 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) from the city center and 6.5 km from the seaport. Mykonos only  has 1 terminal; the modern international / domestic terminal. 

Facilities at the airport include; Duty free, shops, a bank, currency exchange facilities, a premium/business lounge, and Wi-Fi internet access. There are no restaurants at Mykonos Airport, but there is a cafeteria selling hot and cold drinks, snacks and light meals in the terminal building. There are also three bars at the airport.

There is a restriction on liquids contained in hand luggage, just as there is departing UK airports.

 

  Santorini Airport (National Airport)

Santorini Island Airport is the closest airport to our Santorini villas at approximately 25-30 minute drive. 

Santorini Island Airport, otherwise know Thira Airport, located is located on the East side of the Greek island, close to Kamari village. Mykonos only  has 2 terminals; the modern international and the domestic terminal. 

Facilities at the airport include; Duty free, shops, a bank, currency exchange facilities and Wi-Fi internet access. There are no restaurants at Santorini Airport, but there is a cafeteria selling hot and cold drinks, snacks and light meals in the terminal building.

There is a restriction on liquids contained in hand luggage, just as there is departing UK airports.

British Airways fly from London Heathrow.

EasyJet fly from; London Gatwick, London Luton and Manchester

Flythomascook fly from; Manchester only.

Thomson fly from London Gatwick

Non-direct airlines include; Aegean Airlines, British Airways, Easy Jet and Swiss Airlines. Flights are typically via Milan, so if you fancy a short trip to Milan before journeying to Mykonos, you can book an internal flight from Milan to Mykonos with these airlines.

Santorini Island

British Airways fly from London Heathrow and London City

Thomas Cook fly from; Birmingham, London Gatwick, Manchester and Newcastle upon Tyne

Thomson fly from; Birmingham, Bristol, London Gatwick and Manchester 

Small Planet fly from London Gatwick only.

Non- direct airlines include; Norwegian Airlines and Vueling Airlines. Flights are typically via Athens, so if you fancy a short trip to the beautiful historic city of Greece before journeying to Santorini, you can book an internal flight from Athens to Santorini.
