   Swimming Pool 

Inline Beach

The outdoor swimming pool, situated in the hotel's rooftop garden, provides a beautiful tropical setting surrounded by the dynamic cityscape of Bangkok. Featuring a free-form design, the pool is tiled in deep aqua blue that sparkles like a gem in the sunlight and resembles a refreshing lagoon. A stone fountain sculpted to look like Thai children frolicking playfully separates the shallow and deep ends.

Surrounding the pool, large umbrellas and an orchard of indigenous trees and blossoming plants create a lush, garden-like atmosphere that offers welcome shade during the midday heat. Relax as you stretch out on a long sun bed in the shade and enjoy an assortment of local delicacies and small bites from The View restaurant menu.

​At the Athenee Spa, an innovative therapeutic approach focuses on the use of only indigenous products that are chemical free, locally sourced and fair-trade supported. Flowers and floral arts form a distinctive element in the spa, with fragrant blooms including Spanish cherry, Thai jasmine, peony, ylng ylang and royal lotus.

Guests can choose from over 40 treatments, ranging from a selection of massage styles through to entire spa journeys. Enjoy privacy in the seven treatment rooms, with five single treatment rooms and two couples' treatment suites, together with a salon and a separate relaxation area; all equipped to provide the most sophisticated spa and beauty treatments you could desire.

Swimming Pool

Located on the fourth floor of the hotel, Athenee Fitness ensures a dynamic workout from head to toe whilst providing invigorating garden views. An assortment of the latest fitness equipment by TechnoGym, including treadmills, Stairmasters, stationary bicycles and elliptical machines, all feature built-in television monitors and headphones. A full range of professional free weights and weight machines are also at hand.

If you're interested in taking your routine to the next level, allow a private trainer to customize a workout for you. One-on-one training sessions may be scheduled at the front desk of the centre. 

After your workout, the beautifully appointed locker rooms complete with showers, dry heat saunas and steam rooms await. The exceptional facilities also provide you with complimentary fresh towels and ample toiletries.

   Lumpini Park

Established in the 1920s by King Rama VI and named after the Buddha's place of birth in Nepal, Lumpini Park is a great way to escape the congestion of Bangkok without leaving town. The park comprises of 142 acres of shady paths, a large artificial lake and swept lawns.

Besides an indoor fitness center, swimming pool and tennis court only open to residents, Lumpini is an entirely free public space. There are paddle boats on the lake, picnic spots and playgrounds for kids. Visit before 7am when the air is relatively fresh and legions of Thai-Chinese are practicing t'ai chi.

   The Golden Mount (Wat Saket)

Situated on the only hill of Bangkok, The Golden Mount temple is an ancient temple that dates back to the Ayutthaya Period. Make it up the 320 stairs to the top and you will be rewarded with panoramic views of the Rattanakosin Island. 

   Grand Palace

The Grand Palace is a complex of buildings at the heart of Bangkok. The palace has been the official residence of the Kings of Siam (and later Thailand) from 1782 to 1925.  The highlight is Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), which was carved from flawless green jade.
