Swimming Pools

There are many islands around Phuket which are worth exploring. Island hopping in Phuket often includes a full day of kayaking through caves, discovering secret lagoons and sometimes uncovering the colourful fish and marine life below with a glass bottom canoe.

Around the islands you will also find plenty of secluded beaches, many of which are hidden gems and will offer white sands, crystal clear water and beach bars perfect for a spot of lunch and a cocktail.

Phuket is a tropical gem that offers a variety of attractions and sightseeing options for holidaymakers.

The lively old town is well known for its colourful, century old Sino-Portuguese townhouses. The combination of these interesting buildings, along with the street art and different architecture makes Phuket a picturesque town to wonder around with your camera in hand. There are plenty of shops and eateries, along with a good Sunday market.

Phuket is home to many beaches, ranging from large, popular beaches such as Patong to quieter, less known beaches such as Banana beach.

There are plenty of landmarks to be seen in Phuket. Perhaps one of the most distinctive is the Big Buddha, which is situated at the top of Nakkerd hills and offers panoramic views the greenery, beaches and sea around you. Another is Wat Chalong, built at the start of the 19th century and the largest temple on the island. The impressive structure is dedicated to Luang Pho Chaem and Luang Cho Chuang, two highly reputable monks.
