Villa Istrian Retreat is a six-bedroom villa for up to 12 guests, located in the small rural hamlet of Vošteni on the Istrian Peninsula. The villa offers private outdoor space with a pool, terraces and garden, and is well placed for driving access to nearby villages, the Istrian countryside and the peninsula’s coastline.

The Villa 
The villa is arranged over two levels. On the ground floor there is an open‑plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen, dining space and seating area. Two bedrooms are also located on this level - one twin and one double - which share a family bathroom. Patio doors from the living area open directly onto the pool terrace.

The first floor has two double bedrooms and a further twin bedroom, each with an en‑suite bathroom. Some of the bedrooms have balcony access overlooking the surrounding countryside. All bedrooms have air‑conditioning and storage space. The villa also features free Wi‑Fi, satellite TV and private parking.

Outdoor Space 
Outdoors, Villa Istrian Retreat has a 32 m² private swimming pool with a terrace and sun loungers. There is a barbecue and outdoor dining area, plus a garden space for relaxing and meals outside. The villa also offers table tennis, and bicycle hire for exploring the local area. The pool and garden area are fully enclosed.

Local Area - Medvidići, Sveti Lovreč
Villa Istrian Retreat is located in the small rural hamlet of Vošteni on the Istrian Peninsula. Vošteni has a local tavern serving food and drink and is approximately a 5‑minute drive from Sveti Lovreč, where guests can find a selection of shops, cafés and eateries. The coastal town of Funtana, with its marina and additional restaurants and cafés, is around 20 minutes' drive.

The surrounding area is rural and quiet, offering opportunities to explore the Istrian countryside, traditional villages and scenic walking or cycling routes. Historical and cultural sites are nearby, including churches, hilltop villages and local markets. The bustling town of Pula is approximately 40 minutes' drive and provides a wider selection of restaurants, shops and services, as well as its famous Roman amphitheatre, one of the best-preserved in the region.

Region - Istria
Istria is a peninsula in northern Croatia known for its varied coastline, historic towns and rural interior. The region includes a mix of coastal resorts, small fishing villages and inland hill towns, many with preserved historic centres. Along the coast there are numerous beaches, coves and marinas, while the interior is characterised by vineyards, olive groves and traditional villages.

Istria is well connected by road, making it easy to explore different parts of the region by car. Popular towns such as Rovinj, Poreč and Pula offer a range of restaurants, shops and cultural sites, while smaller villages provide a quieter setting. The region is also known for local produce and dining, with a focus on seafood, olive oil and wine.

Getting to the villa
Pula Airport (PUY) is the nearest international airport, located approximately 30 minutes' drive from the villa. Private airport transfers can be arranged however a hire car is recommended, as the villa is in a rural inland setting and a car will be useful for accessing local villages, shops and restaurants, as well as exploring the wider Istrian region.
