As a family, we have stayed at Villa Athina, on 3 separate occasions in the last 10 years. Each visit has exceeded our expectations. Villa Athina is a beautifully appointed villa with stunning views across the Ionian Sea towards the west coast of Greece. Watching the sunrise over Greece from Villa Athina is breathtaking. Situated amongst olive groves, it is a beautiful and tranquil place to stay, yet it is only a few minutes drive to Zakynthos town where there are eclectic bars and restaurants to visit.
The villa is pristine, contemporarily and comfortably furnished and well equipped for cooking and enjoying meals on the shaded veranda overlooking the Ionian Sea. The luxurious pool is maintained to the highest standard and the garden surrounding the pool is pretty and a peaceful place to relax either in the sun or in the shade offered by the ancient olive trees surrounding the pool.
Nikos and Irini are the most welcoming hosts, Nikos greeting us at the airport and assisting us in collecting our hired car. On arrival at the villa, thoughtful complimentary supplies were provided. Nikos and Irini are polite, friendly, professional, attentive, hospitable hosts, offering ideas for places to visit on the island and booking restaurants and taxis for us. Nothing was too much trouble and they did everything to ensure that our holidays at Villa Athina were idyllic. We are lucky to have stayed in such a lovely villa and this is our favourite place to stay in the Mediterranean. We have many happy memories of our family holidays at Villa Athina that we will treasure forever. From our experience, we highly recommend staying here and hope to return soon.

Me and my partner stayed here for a week and it was a dream. The villa itself is stunning inside and equips with everything you could need. The pool is beautiful and everything is so clean and pristine - the sun loungers are top quality. Nikos and Irini were the best hosts, checking in on us, helping with taxis and restaurant bookings, ringing ahead for bookings we'd already made to ensure we were given the best tables etc etc. nothing was too much of an ask. Overall this is a real luxury stay, no corners are cut and you really get what you pay for. We are already planning our return !

I would say our stay was one of the best holiday stays we've had. The villa ticks every box for a couple of families (9 in total in our case). Very comfortable, great facilities, excellent pool. The location is perfect - just a short drive to the town. Having Nikos on hand 24/7 was the icing on the cake. He helped arrange special treatment at bars and restaurants, boat hire, exclusive sun loungers at the beach and more. Can't recommend this enough.
