Villa Marietta | TC9516 | Zakynthos - Three bedroom villa with sea and olive grove views, and a private pool, a short drive to the beach (Prices in Euros)

My husband and I had the most amazing staying in Villa Marietta with our 3 year old in tow. The feel of the villas is like a boutique private resort with VIP service, very conveniently located close to the town, but tucked away in the most idyllic, and peaceful nature setting. It was absolute perfection. We could not fault it and we travel the world extensively.

Upon arrival we were greeted so warmly and delighted to receive a gift pack including delicious Greek wine from Grampsas winery and fresh food.

The villa itself was spacious, beautifully styled, each bedroom had its own en-suite and the bedrooms upstairs each had a private balcony. We loved having our own property to call home for the week, complete with a garage, large garden, outdoor patio and beautiful pool all enclosed through our own private gate.

The villa also came with a mini bar of wine and a room service list we could order from, a breakfast menu, the option of having a private chef, massages and more - amazing!

Nikos and Irini were incredible hosts - Nikos arranged for a car to be dropped at the villa for us which was an absolutely seamless and quick transaction, he recommended the most amazing restaurants and wineries in gorgeous settings, the best beaches and even arranged takeaways for us when we were tired and just wanted to stay in and enjoy our delightful outdoor space.

Each restaurant we went to, we received impeccable service and the best table thanks to Nikos!

Grampsas winery was a highlight as was Nobelos which is near to the port where you can take a boat to Shipwreck Bay. Zakynthos is our new favourite Greek Island thanks to having the insider knowledge from Nikos! (And we have been to many of them).

Most days after venturing out we would return to find all our rooms had been made up, and a full service had been carried out - the discreet daily service was a lovely touch, the staff were all so lovely and made the whole experience feel truly 5 star.

The beautiful pool (an absolute hit for our toddler), the luxurious large double sunbed and the beautifully manicured garden surrounding the villa were definitely a highlight.

Nestled in a gorgeous olive grove with views of the Ionian Sea, we stayed in the Villa Marietta last October for a week. Nikos and Irini were wonderful hosts and truly made the experience unforgettable. They were on hand to warmly welcome us, provide recommendations (restaurants, excursions, supermarkets, beaches etc) and help us sort out bookings.
The villa has every amenity you could possibly need, a daily maid service to keep the place fresh and beautiful outdoor space with a private pool.
We rented a car which I would recommend to easily explore the island. The boat excursion was definitely a standout day, exploring the coves and swimming with the fish!
The local taverna, upon Nikos' recommendation, was a lovely evening - my favourite meal of the week! Also, the local cafe less than a 5 minute drive was a daily stop for frappes and tiropitas!
