Villa was fab, there were 7 of us so we just used the 4 main bedrooms. The top floor bedroom was significantly smaller with two single beds so not a fair split if 5 couples! But the views from up there were stunning. The kitchen was well equipped with a very good oven, hob & microwave. A nespresso type coffee machine would have been a big hit but the standard machine did the job! Air con was efficient and kept us cool. Plenty of hot water on demand and showers were nice & powerful. Hot tub bath was lovely too! Outside space was great, plenty of loungers & umbrellas, pool was a nice size and lovely temperature. Whilst only a 10/15 walk into town it is much steeper than we thought and not really a walk for flip flops, sandals - trainers were great. A steep walk back but thankfully taxis were plentiful & cheap! Orhan was at the end of a WhatsApp message if needed and made sure our pre ordered groceries were put in the fridge/freezer.
This was our second time at villa ayala. It's a beautiful property in a good location. 5 mins to supermarket and town. The villa has amazing accommodation, lovely reception rooms and gorgeous outdoor area. Spotlessly clean. A few small improvements could be made. Firstly the driveway at the top needs to be smoothed out and lowered as it scraped the bottom of our car. Half the recessed lighting in the master suite wasn't working which was a problem as it was either too dark or too bright. No good light for reading. Annoyingly we only figured the problem out at the end of our stay. Also, there are no blankets on the beds and they were definitely needed. Other than these few things, we really enjoyed our stay.
