Situated over 600 hectares of forest, dunes and lush nature, Villa La Fiancée du Vent offers guests the chance to escape to a private oasis where they can enjoy views of the villa’s gardens, the nearby lake and Atlantic Ocean. Its location, only 800m from the nearest beach and close to the town of Essaouira, makes it an excellent seaside escape providing guests with a range of activities and things to do, whilst still being set in its own magical and peaceful location.

Staff & services:

Villa La Fiancée du Vent is staffed for 6 days a week with a charming and discreet housekeeper who speaks good English and French. Everyday she will make guests breakfast and is also able to make local, Moroccan dishes throughout the day for an additional charge. 

As the villa is located on the Sofitel golf course, guests benefit from the nearby facilities which include two splendid golf courses, a spa, restaurant and bar, and a shuttle bus that runs to the city center every hour. These services are all available for additional charges, payable locally. 

Accommodation: 

Villa La Fiancée du Vent has a spacious living area complete with a kitchen and open plan lounge/dining area. The living area features some comfy sofas, a large 75 inch HD TV, BOSE 5.1 home cinema system, DVD player and also a pool table and dart board to keep guests entertained. Large glass doors let the light flood into this space and also open up straight onto the pool terrace, helping to bring the outside in.  

The villa can accommodate up to 13 guests and offers 5 comfortable bedrooms (three doubles, one with three singles and one with two singles and a bunk bed) and 5 bathrooms. 

Internet and air-conditioning/heating is available throughout the property. 

Outside: 

Outdoors, Villa La Fiancée du Vent features a good sized private swimming pool with sun loungers and day beds dotted around, enabling guests to relax and soak up the radiant Moroccan sun. The outdoor terrace provides guests with a rattan seating area overlooking the pool and gardens, a great spot to enjoy your morning coffee. The al-fresco dining area and two outdoor bars also allow guests to dine and spend time together outdside. 

Further into the villas gardens there is a pétanque area, aviary, chickens and rabbits and many tall,  verdant trees that provide some nice shady spots where you can escape from the heat of the sun. 

The furnished roof terrace offers a breath-taking views of the sorrounding nature and beautiful sunsets. 

Guests will find 4 x mountain bikes at the villa which can be used around the site or to go over to the nearby beach. There are two tennis courts a short 300m away available for guests to use free of charge. In addition to this, a 14km hiking trail crosses the entire estate and a horse club is located just a short drive away.
