  • Half a dozen oysters per person at the O Bar

  Shopping

Shopping

Morocco truly is a shopper's paradise and the bazaars and markets provide infinite opportunities to splash some cash. Leather goods are very popular, particularly in Marrakech as bags, belts, wallets and shoes are all made within the walls of the medina, right from the early stages of tanning the hides to the craftsmanship of creating the final product. Homewares are another favourite amongst shoppers and you will find beautiful textiles, hand-woven rugs, and intricate copper and brass lanterns of all shapes and sizes, as well as traditional tea sets and tagines to impress your friends with a Moroccan-themed evening back home. If you're looking for something a little bigger then consider purchasing some hand-carved wooden furniture like for example a side table with inlaid mother-of-pearl; a popular choice and something that you will see all over Morocco from berber tents to the finest hotels.

  Fine dining

Fine Dining

Morocco is home to restaurants serving cuisine from all corners of the globe, from Asian fusion to Italian, and from street food to fine dining; there really is a cuisine to suit everyone. Many of our Morocco hotels pride themselves on their exquisite dining using local fresh ingredients and spices, and most hotel restaurants are open to non-residents as well as booked guests, including L'hotel Marrakech, Kashbar Tamadot, La Sultana Marrakech and La Sultana Oualidia (all non-residents must book in advance for these hotels). As you may expect, the resorts of the Atlantic Coast are abundant with restaurants offering fresh fish and seafood so pescatarians are well catered for.
