Marrakech Menara Airport is situated just outside the city of Marrakech. The modern international terminal was completed in 2019 and there are duty free shops and a variety of different restaurants and bars in both the domestic and international terminals to enjoy while you wait for your flight.
Throughout the year flights operate to and from Marrakech Menara Airport to many European destinations.

The usual rental car providers operate from Marrakech Menara Airport, however if you are staying in Marrakech centre a rental car is not required, in fact much of the medina is not accessible to cars!
By L19 Express Bus you can transfer from Marrakech Airport to further destinations within the city such as Hivernage, Bab Doukkala, Marrakech Railway Station, Jemaa el-Fna, Gueliz. The bus runs daily, every 20 minutes between 06:00 - 23:30 and costs 30MAD (about £2.50) per person for a return ticket.
If you walk straight out of the airport onto Avenue Guemassa (500m walk) you can catch a local bus into the city centre (bus routes 11, 12, 18, 20 and 33 will all stop close the Jemaa El Fna Square. A one way ticket will cost around 4MAD (£0.30) per person one way.
Head straight out of the terminal building and across to first car park, here you will find taxis waiting. The price of a taxi is fixed, however always agree price prior to getting in. a petit taxi (Maximum 3 passengers) should cost around 70MAD total to the medina, whereas a grand taxi (up to 6 passengers, although 4 comfortably) will cost around 120 MAD
We can arrange a private transfer for our guests, you will get met at Marrakech Menara Airport by your driver who will then take you straight to your accommodation. This is by far the less stressful options especially if you're staying in the medina. Many of the riads in the medina do not have vehicular access so a representative of the riad will meet the driver at the nearest point and guide you to your accommodation.
