Rhodes Island Airport, otherwise know Diagoras Airport, is located on the Western side of the island, a short 20-30 minute drive from both Rhodes Town and Faliraki. Lindos is also within easy reach, approximately an hours drive away. Rhodes has two interconnecting terminals. An older terminal used for both arrivals and departures and a new terminal which is used for departures only. Facilities at the airport include; Duty free, shops, a bank, currency exchange facilities and WiFi internet access. There is also a restaurant, bar and cafe, along with kiosks which sell newspapers, magazines, refreshments and souvenirs. Rental Car: The usual rental car providers operate from Rhodes Airport, including Enterprise, Hertz, AVIS and a few more. These can be found in the main arrivals hall. Public Transport: There is a bus service provided that runs between the airport and the city of Rhodes. Tickets can be purchased from the bus driver and the stop is located between the new and old terminal. Taxi: A metered taxi service is available outside the Rhodes Airport Terminal building. A journey from the airport to the city of Rhodes is usually 20-30 minutes, working out at around €25. You may be charged extra if you have a lot of luggage. Private Transfer: We can arrange a private transfer for our guests, you will get met at Rhodes Airport by your driver who will then take you straight to your accommodation. |
