Explore Mykonos

Courtyard swimming pool

The idyllic calm of Platis Gialos bay is a mere five kilometres from Chora (also known as Mykonos town). The town holds fascinating historical and architectural interest and has a relaxed charm, with its boutiques parading local crafts alongside international fashion. Clubs, bars and tavernas spill out onto the picturesque maze of cobbled passages between whitewashed houses and little Byzantine churches that emit the glow of votive candles and the sweet scent of incense. A public bus service departs from the end of the boardwalk on Platis Gialos to Fabrica Square in Chora every half hour between 8am and 4am between July and August and otherwise on the hour.

To experience the island's legendary club life, take a short journey off the coastal route or by boat to Cavo Paradiso or Super Paradiso. The party here migrates from sun-drenched beach bars to open-air nightclubs pumping with all-night energy.

Delos & Rhenia Discovery

Spa at La Sultana

Leaving the Ambassador Hotel at noon, you will swim and snorkel around Rhenia and enjoy a grilled on-board barbeque lunch before heading to Delos around 5:30pm, a time of day at which few visitors choose to visit the island. Walk through the ancient city in the company of a certified private guide as the sun sets over its marble ruins. And on your return to Platys Gialos (or Mykonos Town if you choose) around 8pm with champagne in hand, just when you thought it couldn't get more magical, Chora will light up its glittering night mantle.
