   Nearest Airport: Mykonos International Airport (JMK)

 

Mykonos Island Airport, otherwise know as Hephaistos (or Ifestos) Airport, is located after the area Drafaki, 4 kilometres (2.5 miles) from the city centre and 6.5 km from the seaport. Mykonos only has 1 terminal; the modern international / domestic terminal. 

Facilities at the airport include; Duty free, shops, a bank, currency exchange facilities, a premium/business lounge, and WiFi internet access. There are no restaurants at Mykonos Airport, but there is a cafeteria selling hot and cold drinks, snacks and light meals in the terminal building. There are also three bars at the airport.

There is a restriction on liquids contained in hand luggage, just as there is departing UK airports.

    Airlines operating between the UK and Mykonos International Airport 

 

The following airlines operate from the UK to Mykonos; 

British Airways fly from; London Heathrow, London-Stansted, London-City, Manchester

EasyJet fly from; London-Gatwick, London-Luton and Manchester

Jet 2 fly from; London-Stansted, Manchester

Non-direct airlines include; Aegean Airlines, British Airways, Olympic Air, easyJet, Wizz Air and Swiss Airlines. Flights are typically via Milan, so if you fancy a short trip to Milan before journeying to Mykonos, you can book an internal flight from Milan to Mykonos with these airlines.

   Airport Transfers

 

Rental Car: 

The usual rental car providers operate from Mykonos Airport, including Avance Hertz, AVIS and a few more. These can be found in the main arrivals hall. 

Public Transport: 

There is a bus service that is provided between the Airport and the city of Mykonos (Chora) and other destinations during the summer months. There is a public bus stop in front of terminal building and tickets can be purchased by the bus driver.

Taxi:

A metered taxi service is available outside the Mykonos Airport Terminal building. A journey from the airport to the city of Mykonos (Chlora) is usually about 10 minutes, working out at around €15. You may be charged extra if you have a lot of luggage. 

Private Transfer: 

We can arrange a private transfer for our guests, you will get met at Mykonos Airport by your driver who will then take you straight to your accommodation.
