Villa Erato is a large villa, very comfortably accommodating up to 10 guests in 5 en-suite bedrooms. The villa's elegant arches, columns and stone work, a hallmark of Mediterranean and Lycian design make quite a statement as you approach the property. Once inside, that you have arrived somewhere special quickly becomes apparent. The kitchen is fully equipped to self-cater, and the property fully air-conditioned.

A few words from the property architect and owner:
The house is a harmonious blend of rustic charm, organic minimalism, and modern comfort. The architectural design emphasises open, flowing spaces. Large pocket windows open fully to remove the borders between indoors and outdoors, allowing the fresh breeze and natural light to fill the rooms. The main architectural elements include stone arches and columns, large windows, travertine stone flooring, high-quality Spanish ceramics, and luxurious oak wood furniture, all contributing to the house's elegant yet cosy atmosphere. Throughout the house, you will find artworks dedicated to Erato. These artworks add a unique and personal touch to the space, celebrating Erato's influence on art and culture.

The large private infinity pool wraps around the property and has a shallow area, great for sunbathing with your toes in the water. Some bedrooms have direct pool access from the bedroom terrace. Please note that these terraces do not have balustrades and these bedrooms may not be suitable for children.

The terrace bar, with its breath-taking views of the sea and nearby islands, is perfect for enjoying a sunset cocktail.

There is parking outside the property, and Kalkan's beach, old town and harbour are around 5 minutes away by taxi/hire car.

Kiziltas is a popular hillside area of Kalkan, situated just above the D400 main road and directly behind the historic old town. Facing south, its elevated position commands truly magnificent, uninterrupted views across the entire bay toward Snake and Mouse Islands. While the walk down into town is usually manageable with convenient pedestrian access provided via a footbridge over the main road, the return journey can be a steep uphill climb. Fortunately, taxis are plentiful, making it easy to get back to your villa if you prefer not to walk or haven't hired a car.

Kalkan is a charming harbour town on Turkey's Turquoise Coast, known for its rooftop restaurants, historic old town streets and relaxed Mediterranean pace. The town offers a wide choice of beach clubs, waterside dining and easy access to nearby bays and beaches.

Dalaman Airport is the nearest airport for Kalkan - around 90 minutes away by car. We can arrange your private airport transfers or car hire if preferred for added flexibility during your stay.
