Villa Thalia is a large property, very comfortably accommodating up to 10 guests in 5 en-suite bedrooms. The villa's elegant arches, columns and stone inlaid steps, a hallmark of Mediterranean and Lycian design make quite a statement as you approach the property. Once inside, that you have arrived somewhere special becomes quickly apparent.

Accommodation is arranged over two floors with 2 doubles, king size, and a twin on the ground floor off the central courtyard. The master bedroom is at the front of the first floor and is a spacious and very comfortable room. A large picture window opens up sea views to spectacular effect and has an indulgent free standing bath from which to enjoy them. A nice cushioned window seat is a nice addition in this room, and we think the high beamed ceilings, tile work and use of wood are particularly attractive. There is a second spacious double, king size, on this level, and both rooms have access to a very attractive stone and wrought iron balcony with beautiful views.

The open-plan living area comprises a spacious and well equipped kitchen, dining and living space. There is also a cinema room, WC and sauna on this level. Glass doors connect the living area both to the courtyard behind and swimming pool and terrace in front giving the scope to create a quite spectacular indoor/outdoor space. The property is fully air-conditioned and equipped with Wi-Fi.

The house is a harmonious blend of rustic charm, organic minimalism, and modern comfort. The architectural design emphasises open, flowing spaces. Large pocket windows open fully to remove the borders between indoors and outdoors, allowing the fresh breeze and natural light to fill the rooms. The main architectural elements include stone arches and columns, large windows, travertine stone flooring, high-quality Spanish ceramics, and luxurious oak wood furniture, all contributing to the house's elegant yet cosy atmosphere.

The villa has a large private infinity pool at the front of the property with some lovely sitting and sunbathing areas and garden just below and in front of the pool. A large shaded terrace directly off the living area that extends the full width of the property is furnished to enjoy alfresco dining and lounging. It has direct access to the pool and lovely sea views.

There are sunbeds for guests in various areas of the property which can be moved on request. The master bedroom and second spacious double on the first floor both have access to a very attractive stone and wrought iron balcony with lovely views.

The terrace bar, with its breath-taking views of the sea and nearby islands, is perfect for enjoying a sunset cocktail.

There is parking outside the villa, and Kalkan's beach, old town and harbour are around 5 minutes away by taxi/hire car.

Kiziltas is a popular hillside area of Kalkan, situated just above the D400 main road and directly behind the historic old town. Facing south, its elevated position commands truly magnificent, uninterrupted views across the entire bay toward Snake and Mouse Islands. While the walk down into town is usually manageable with convenient pedestrian access provided via a footbridge over the main road, the return journey can be a steep uphill climb. Fortunately, taxis are plentiful, making it easy to get back to your villa if you prefer not to walk or haven't hired a car.

Kalkan is a charming harbour town on Turkey's Turquoise Coast, known for its rooftop restaurants, historic old town streets and relaxed Mediterranean pace. The town offers a wide choice of beach clubs, waterside dining and easy access to nearby bays and beaches.

Dalaman Airport is the nearest airport for Kalkan - around 90 minutes away by car. We can arrange your private airport transfers or car hire if preferred for added flexibility during your stay.
