The interior is modern, elegant and spacious with feature stone walls and marble tiles. Much of the ground floor is dedicated to an open-plan living area that combines the lounge, dining space, and kitchen. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows and sliding doors span the front of the property, letting in lots of light and framing views over the pool terrace toward the Mediterranean. The lounge features an L-shaped sofa set, TV, and a dining table for 8 guests with comfortable seating. The kitchen with breakfast bar is fully equipped for self catering and includes a large fridge-freezer, oven, hob with extractor, microwave, kettle, and toaster. Set slightly apart for convenience are a practical utility room containing a washing machine, iron, and ironing board, and a separate guest WC.

The first of the villa's four air-conditioned bedrooms is also located on this level.

• Bedroom 1 - This twin room (featuring 100cm x 200cm beds) enjoys sea views and direct access to the pool terrace, served by an en-suite bathroom equipped with both a separate shower cubicle and a Jacuzzi-style bath.

First floor -The first floor comprises three en-suite bedrooms, each opening onto its own furnished private balcony with views across the sea.

• Bedroom 2: This versatile room features a super-king-size bed (200cm x 200cm) that can be reconfigured as twin beds (100cm x 200cm) if preferred. The en-suite bathroom is equipped with a separate shower cubicle and a Jacuzzi-style bath.

• Bedrooms 3 & 4: These two identical rooms each offer a king-size bed (180cm x 200cm). Both feature their own en-suite bathrooms, complete with a separate shower cubicle and a Jacuzzi-style bath.

Lower ground floor and garden - Below the main villa lies a generous games room, well-appointed for guests' entertainment with a pool table, table tennis, and table football.

The external living space centers around a 16m x 4.5m swimming pool, cleverly designed to include a principal swimming area, a children's pool, a submerged Jacuzzi jet seating section with a water feature, and a shallow sunbathing ledge.

Fully furnished for outdoor living, the pool terrace features a dining table and chairs, eight sun loungers, and a comfortable, shaded seating area looking out over Kalkan bay. The accommodation is completed by a grassed area and a children's playground situated at the back of the villa.

Located above the main town on the steep hillsides overlooking Kalkan, Kördere offers some of the most dramatic, panoramic views of the entire coastline, stretching right across the bay to the islands. The neighbourhood has a more rural, authentic feel and is less built-up than the areas closer to the coast. It has become a particularly popular location for modern, secluded villas that feature large infinity pools designed to maximise the sweeping vistas. Due to the steep terrain and its distance from the coast, a car or taxi is essential for trips into the town centre, the harbour, and the local beach clubs, which are a short drive down the mountain.

Located in the Kordere area of Kalkan, Villa La Mer Azur is around 6 minutes' drive away from the beach, shopping and restaurants in central Kalkan.

Kalkan is a charming harbour town on Turkey's Turquoise Coast, known for its rooftop restaurants, historic old town streets and relaxed Mediterranean pace. The town offers a wide choice of beach clubs, waterside dining and easy access to nearby bays and beaches.

Due to the location, Villa La Mer Azur is not suitable for walking into town. The villa is approached by a number of steps, so it may not be suitable for anyone who has difficulty with stairs.
