   Mykonos Island Airport (National Airport)

 

Mykonos Island Airport is the closest airport to our Mykonos villas at approximately 25-30 minute drive. 

Mykonos Island Airport, otherwise know as Hephaistos (or Ifestos) Airport, is located after the area Drafaki, 4 kilometres (2.5 miles) from the city centre and 6.5 km from the seaport. Mykonos only has 1 terminal; the modern international / domestic terminal. 

Facilities at the airport include; Duty free, shops, a bank, currency exchange facilities, a premium/business lounge, and WiFi internet access. There are no restaurants at Mykonos Airport, but there is a cafeteria selling hot and cold drinks, snacks and light meals in the terminal building. There are also three bars at the airport.

There is a restriction on liquids contained in hand luggage, just as there is departing UK airports.

 

  Santorini Airport (National Airport)

 

Santorini Island Airport is the closest airport to our Santorini villas at approximately 25-30 minute drive. 

Santorini Island Airport, otherwise know Thira Airport, is located on the East side of the Greek island, close to Kamari village. Santorini only has 1 terminal; the modern international / domestic terminal. 

Facilities at the airport include; Duty free, shops, a bank, currency exchange facilities and WiFi internet access. There are no restaurants at Santorini Airport, but there is a cafeteria selling hot and cold drinks, snacks and light meals in the terminal building.

There is a restriction on liquids contained in hand luggage, just as there is departing UK airports.

 

  Rhodes Airport (National Airport)

 

Rhodes Island Airport is the closest airport to our Rhodes villas and hotels, closely followed by Dalaman Airport which is situated on Turkey's Turquoise Coast. Catching the ferry across from Turkey can work particularly well for those who might like to do a split stay between the two destinations. 

Rhodes Island Airport, otherwise know Diagoras Airport, is located on the Western side of the island, a short 20-30 minute drive from both Rhodes Town and Faliraki. Lindos is also within easy reach, approximately an hours drive away.

Rhodes has two interconnecting terminals. An older terminal used for both arrivals and departures and a new terminal which is used for departures only. 

Facilities at the airport include; Duty free, shops, a bank, currency exchange facilities and WiFi internet access. There is also a restaurant, bar and cafe, along with kiosks which sell newspapers, magazines, refreshments and souvenirs.

There is a restriction on liquids contained in hand luggage, just as there is departing UK airports.

Non-direct airlines include; Aegean Airlines, British Airways, Olympic Air, easyJet, Wizz Air and Swiss Airlines. Flights are typically via Milan, so if you fancy a short trip to Milan before journeying to Mykonos, you can book an internal flight from Milan to Mykonos with these airlines.

 

Santorini Island:

British Airways fly from; London Heathrow, London Gatwick and London City

EasyJet fly from; London Gatwick, Manchester, Bristol and London Luton

Jet 2 fly from; London Stansted, Birmingham, Manchester, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Bristol, Leeds Bradford and Newcastle

Ryanair fly from; London Stansted

TUI fly from; Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands and Manchester 

Non- direct airlines include; Norwegian Airlines, Aegean Airlines, Sky Express, Wizz Air and Vueling Airlines. Flights are typically via Athens, so if you fancy a short trip to the beautiful historic city of Greece before journeying to Santorini, you can book an internal flight from Athens to Santorini.
