Villa Afsana is one of two very similar neighbouring properties (Setara is the other) that sit in a premium location close to the sea and Palm Beach club in the popular and sought after area of Komurluk in Kalkan. Designed to maximise the impact of the magnificent views from this position, Afsana uses glass in its construction to open up the views from many parts of the property to spectacular effect. Interior design and furnishings here are contemporary and comfortable, with splashes of colour in the artwork that look great against the cool white walls.
Indoor space
The ground floor comprises an open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The living space enjoys panoramic views and is furnished in a modern, comfortable style, with a Smart TV offering access to Netflix and Amazon Prime, a DVD player and a sound system. The kitchen-diner is well equipped with modern appliances including a gas hob with electric oven, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, microwave and coffee machine, along with a dining table seating eight. This level also includes a twin bedroom (which can be configured as a double on request) with an en-suite shower room and views towards the terrace.
On the first floor, the master bedroom features a king size bed and extends to approximately 40 square metres. It includes a free-standing Jacuzzi bath positioned to enjoy sea and mountain views, along with an en-suite shower room, separate dressing room and private sea view balcony.
The second floor offers two further bedrooms. One can be arranged as either a twin or double and includes an en-suite bath/shower room and dressing area. The other has a king size bed, en-suite shower room and dressing area. Both bedrooms enjoy sea and mountain views and have access to a roof terrace that spans the width of the villa.

at my visit to Villa Afsana, the two things that immediately come
to mind are the bright and modern interior and the sea view. High
ceilings and floor to ceiling glass windows allow light to fill the
space, and outdoors the pool terrace is just as impressive. The
villa's position close to the sea makes it particularly well suited
to those who enjoy Kalkan's beach clubs, with several within easy
reach. For larger groups, Villa Afsana can also be combined with
its sister villa, Villa Setara, or the smaller Villa
Nana."

Villa Afsana has a stunning view over Kalkan bay. Magnificent outdoor space and infinity pool. The accommodation is over three floors, very contemporary and modern, which, is perfect for the environment. The light does stream through the windows and it's difficult to sleep past sunrise. Eye masks are kindly provided to overcome this. The owner met us on arrival, delightful, helpful and keen to offer assistance at any time. Overall, the villa has a wonderful feel to it, easy to relax as everything is well appointed; great showers; clean; airconditioned and close enough to town.
The views from the terrace were amazing overlooking the infinity pool and across the bay. It was a fairly easy walk into Kalkan for an evening and lovely to spend a day at the Palm Beach Club below. Would also highly recommend a boat trip!
Villa Afsana is a beautiful modern villa in the perfect location.
The position of the Villa was fantastic it will be a hard one to beat and the location to the beach club was great. Stunning views and we did not want to leave. It was so lovely we wanted to buy the property.
We've just come back from a week in Villa Asfana in mid June. The villa is just as the pictures show it - clean, minimalist, fresh and bright - and BIG! All the rooms are really generous sizes and the double height feature lounge is stunning (albeit the sound travels to the master bedroom above) and we loved the spa bath in the main bedroom! The views and the infinity pool are to die for - it gets the evening sun (you'll take daily sunset pictures!) in our opinion, it is definitely on the best side of the bay! The staff are lovely and a special thanks to the guest service staff - nothing was too much trouble and he was very responsive to any requests! A couple of suggestions (constructive feedback) - the kitchen is a little "light" on equipment for self-catering. There's plenty of crockery, cutlery, glassware etc, but an extra pan/oven tray and some sharper knives would be useful! And if like us, you are wondering whether a luxury villa is equipped with washing up liquid/dishcloth/dishwasher tabs etc and maybe some favourite condiments/oils - then unfortunately not! Would have been a nice touch. So, overall - we're already looking at dates for next year for our return trip - enough said!
By far the best Villa we have stayed at so far in Kalkan, Villa Afsana had everything and more. The views are unbelievable! Amazing!!....... WOW!
