Villa Setara is one of two neighbouring 'Avicenna Villas' (Afsana is the other) that sit in a premium location close to the sea and Palm Beach club as well as the new Zest Beach Club in the popular and sought after area of Komurluk in Kalkan. Designed to maximise the impact of the lovely views, Setara uses glass in its construction to open up the views from many parts of the property to spectacular effect. Interior design and furnishings here are contemporary and comfortable, with splashes of colour in the artwork that look great against the cool white walls.
Indoor space
The ground floor comprises an open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The living space enjoys panoramic views and is furnished in a modern style, with a Smart TV offering access to Netflix and Amazon Prime, a DVD player and a sound system. The kitchen-diner is well equipped with modern appliances including a gas hob with electric oven, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, microwave and coffee machine, along with a dining table seating six. This level also includes a twin bedroom (which can be configured as a double on request) with an en-suite shower room and views towards the terrace.
On the first floor, the master bedroom features a king size bed and extends to approximately 40 square metres. It includes a free-standing Jacuzzi bath positioned to enjoy sea and mountain views, along with an en-suite shower room, separate dressing room and a private sea view balcony.
The second floor offers two further bedrooms. One can be arranged as either a twin or double and includes an en-suite bath/shower room and dressing area. The other has a king size bed, en-suite shower room and dressing area. Both bedrooms enjoy sea and mountain views and have access to a roof terrace that spans the width of the villa.

"Looking back
at my visit to Villa Setara, the two things that immediately come
to mind are the bright and modern interior and the sea view. High
ceilings and floor to ceiling glass windows allow light to fill the
space, and outdoors the pool terrace is just as impressive. The
villa's position close to the sea makes it particularly well suited
to those who enjoy Kalkan's beach clubs, with several within easy
reach. For larger groups, Villa Setara can also be combined with
its sister villa, Villa Afsana, or the smaller Villa
Nana."

Fabulous location and lovely villa - maintenance could be improved on a couple of small points; a few lights not working, drawers broken and one a/c unit needed fixing. Also on arrival there were very basic provisions - no salt, pepper or basic spices, no foil / clingfilm and the water in the separate unit was almost empty. Also considering the villa sleeps up to 8 people, the barbeque is pretty small. Nothing major to dent the overall enjoyment but small things that are low cost that would be a good touch. We loved the villa and its location, service to attend to needs was very swift and positive.
Great property. The villa caretaker had very poor English though and there was confusion over who was supposed to refill the water dispenser.

Lovely villa. Perfect for little ones with the children's pool. Great being able to see the children in the pool from the kitchen/living room. Taxis into town were very cheap.
It is a lovely and spacious property with easy access to Kalkan restaurants, beach and shopping. Having en suites to each bedroom is great.
Location of this property was amazing, as was the view. The villa layout was very well thought out and furnished well. Very conveniently located villa in Kormuluk area. Great pool with sea views. Wonderful view of the harbour and boats. Villa located within 3-4 minute walk of Palm Beach Club.
