The villa in more detail. . . 

The villa is full of beautiful traditional Thai-inspired artwork and furnishings with touches of gold throughout. The living area, located in a pavilion towards the front of the property offers plenty of comfortable seating viewing both the outside area and the flat screen TV. This space also boasts a large wooden dining table under timber ceilings with stunning lighting and an array of authentic ornaments. The fully equipped kitchen sits the other side of the living room.

From the dining area, there are large glass sliding doors leading to outdoor seating and the lush tropical garden and pool area. This allows for the indoor and outdoor space to blend seamlessly together and offers view of both the private pool and the stunning blue sea. There are two traditional outdoor Sala's, one with an al-fresco dining area, gas fired BBQ, bar with sink and fridge and stereo with speakers compatible with i-pod. The other houses a cushioned seating area overlooking the pool. The 15m chlorinated private pool runs parallel with the beach and features easy access steps and underwater lighting. There are plenty of sun loungers for relaxing underneath the palm trees. 

The property also has an upper floor level where guests will find the gym and sauna facilities shared with the neighbouring property - Villa Sila. 

The Bedrooms: 

There are 7 well-designed bedrooms in Villa Wayu each with direct access to the terrace as well as a children's living room offering 3 bunk beds. The rooms are laid out as follows;

At the front of the property is the master suite with large glass sliding doors opening directly out onto the pool terrace. These large doors allow for sunlight to flood into the room and for views of the pool and sea beyond. The suite consists of a large double bed, desk, small seating area, wardrobe, TV and, of course, traditional Thai touches with muted tones and wooden features. The stylish suite also has an en-suite bathroom complete with twin sinks and both indoor and outdoor rainfall showers.

The remaining 6 bedrooms (three double bedrooms and three twin bedrooms) are located towards the back of the property in 4 separate pavilions. These elegant bedrooms are complete with Italian ceramic floor tiles, unique artwork and timber ceilings. Each bedroom is equipped with a wardrobe, TV and en-suite bathroom including twin sinks and indoor/outdoor rainfall shower. 

Villa Wayu also offers a further children's living room with a large TV, bean bags and a selection of children's toys and games. This space has an additional set of three bunk beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, allowing the property to sleep up to 20 guests at one time. 

Staff & Services:

The villa's dedicated manager, housekeeper and chef offer a discreet amenable service and with the staff quarters just behind the villa, they can be reached any time with just the press of a button. The chef will prepare the complimentary breakfast every morning at which point you can discuss any further dining requirements for the day with your villa manager.

A comprehensive (priced) menu is available daily and includes an array of delicious Thai and Western cuisine. Your villa chef will cook complimentary when you order dishes from the Miskawaan in-villa menu. For special occasions, it is possible to hire a chef to prepare a barbeque at your villa or even a tailored banquet on the beach for the perfect tropical island celebration.

Guests staying at Villa Sila have complimentary use of the Kayaks. 

There is 24 hour monitored security and maintenance teams on hand. There is also an English-speaking Estate Manager available should you need any help advice or have any special requests. The villas are located 700m from the Miskawaan Estate comprising 7 premium smaller Samui beach villas. 

Location:

Villa Wayu is nestled amongst tropical foliage and greenery to add privacy and is part of the spacious sanctuary that is Miskawaan. Located on the Maenam beachfront on the north coast of Koh Samu,  the villas Sila and Wayu at Miskawaan are situated side by side, 700 metres away from the main Miskawaan estate (with 7 smaller villas). 

Stroll along the beach and you will discover various different cafés and restaurants overlooking the sea. A short walk inland takes you to Maenam's main 'walking street' which has plenty of eateries and shops of its own, but really comes alive every Thursday with a night market of exciting stalls selling clothes, souveniers, handicrafts, sizzling snacks, and you will even find mobile cocktail bars offering much cheaper versions of what you can find in the local bars and restaurants.

Golf enthusiasts will enjoy the close proximity to The Royal Samui Golf course, which is only a 15-minute drive away. Alternatively, guests may wish to venture to Bophut, known as the Fisherman's Village, where there is an abundance of restaurants, or the popular resort of Chaweng Beach - the largest town on the island - and just a 20-minute drive away.

Villa Wayu & Villa Sila: The Residences Estate:

Villa Wayu and Villa Sila can be booked alongside each other and the partitions separating the villas can be opened up for easy access between the properties. Booked together they form The Residences Estate and accommodate up to 28 adults and 12 children.
